TPS Blog & Podcast Content Submission Guidelines
The TPS blog and podcast serve as a space to share knowledge, build community, and amplify voices related to psychedelic research, advocacy, integration, and personal experiences. Content should reflect the TPS mission to educate, inspire, and inform while promoting responsible and respectful discussion. Please read over our guidelines before you submit.
1. Content Criteria
Relevance:
All submissions must align with the psychedelic cause and TPS’s directive to foster education, advocacy, and community support.
Types of Content:
For both written and audio submissions:

Legal updates and explanations (e.g., policy changes, advocacy wins)

Investigative journalism (e.g., research on local events, interviews)

Opinion and perspective pieces

News reports and updates
-
Speculative or exploratory discussions on future psychedelic research or practice

Integration and personal experience stories (respecting privacy and boundaries)
2. Content Standards
Appropriate Content Only:
No illegal, offensive, or harmful content will be accepted. All submissions must uphold TPS community values.
Accuracy:
For articles and audio discussing legal matters, research findings, or news, provide accurate information with proper references or citations when possible. Journalistic integrity is important depending on the type of knowledge or content one is deseminating.
Tone:
Maintain an educational, respectful, and community-focused tone. Avoid inflammatory language or personal attacks.
3. Formatting Guidelines
Written Submissions
Length:

Short-form: 600–1,000 words

Long-form: 1,000–2,500 words (in-depth analysis, interviews, or investigations)
Structure:

Clear title and byline
-
Introduction (brief overview of the article’s purpose)

Organized sections with headers (for readability)

Conclusion with key takeaways, calls to action, or final reflections

Conversational but professional tone

Use stylistic elements when contextually relevant
Audio Podcast Submissions File Requirements:

File format: MP3 preferred (minimum quality 128 kbps) or similar quality formats (WAV, AAC accepted)

Audio should be clear and free of excessive background noise. Include an audio intro if possible, but not required, depends on the type of audio submisison. Which can be many different types of styles.
Length:

Flexible, generally between 2–90 minutes
Content Recommendations:

Generally Start with a brief introduction of yourself and the topic

Organize discussion with a logical flow (segments or themes)

Use respectful language, even when discussing controversial topics

End with key takeaways or closing thoughts
Technical Tips:

Record in a quiet environment to minimize noise

Speak clearly and at a moderate pace

Use a decent quality microphone (USB mics or smartphone microphones are acceptable if used properly)

Consider basic editing to remove long pauses or background interruptions
4. Submission Process
Where to Submit:
Submit written articles and audio files by emailing them to tripsubmissions@gmail.com
Submission Requirements:

Include a brief author/presenter bio (50 words max)

Provide any relevant images, videos, or external links (optional)

Written pieces: Submit as Google Docs, Word documents, or plain text files.

Audio files: Submit MP3 or acceptable format via direct upload link or email attachment.
5. Review Process Moderation:
A designated editor or podcast moderator will review all submissions.

Approval Timeline:
You will be notified of approval, required edits, or rejection within two weeks of submission.
6. Contributor Opportunities
Accepted contributors may:

Participate in future media projects (e.g., YouTube interviews, symposium panels)

Receive priority consideration for key topic features

8. Tips for Successful Submissions
